Natural Bridge Caverns Details
Although Texas has its fair share of underground caves and caverns, this one is considered to be the largest in the entire state. Despite being over tens of thousands of years old, these caverns are still constantly changing as rainwater shapes, forms, and dissolved through the holes ad cracks of the limestone. The caves are located approximately 180 feet below the earth's surface, although it's believed that some undiscovered rooms sit as far as 230-feet down. Some of the natural highlights include a 60-foot suspended bridge, soda-straw stalactites, cave ribbons, and even a lake.
