Lost Maples Details
With rolling hills, limestone canyons, and miles of untouched beauty, this 2,906-acre piece of land is home to many native plants and animals in the Edwards Plateau. Not only will you find wild creatures like foxes, armadillos, bobcats, and white-tailed deer, but you'll also get the experience the breathtaking colors of autumn foliage of their natural habitats. From October to November, the leaves of the Uvalde bigtooth maple trees start to change colors, which paints the entire park mesmerizing shades of reds, oranges, and browns. Juxtaposed against the crystal blue waters of streams and rivers, it's truly a sight to behold.
