Cascasde Caverns

150-feet below the earth's surface is one of Texas most stunning geological attractions. This underground cavern is the oldest living cave system in the state and features winding corridors, narrow chambers, and mysterious cathedral rooms. The stalactites that protrude from the ceiling are home to a variety of eerie creatures, including neotenic salamanders and tri-colored bats. Tours are the cavern are conducted daily, although they also offer a nighttime flashlight tour and a 4-hour adventure spelunking tour of the lower cave system in the summer.
