Also known as Jetty Beach, this area is right in the middle between Mustang Island and Padre Island, although it's considerably less crowded and perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. The waters are calm and great for swimming or snorkeling, although many people also come in the evening for beautiful views of the sunset. Pack your fishing pole and tackle box and cast a line straight from the Packery Jetty or the rocky shoreline.
