Seawall Urban Park

Ideal for a beach do or outdoor adventure, this coastal park has plenty to offer in terms of excitement. Choose a spot along the 10-miles of beach, fish off the jetty for a fresh seafood dinner, or go for a walk or bike ride along the countrys longest continuous sidewalk. If the weathers warm, you might consider going for a swim in the ocean, although you will likely encounter some pretty big waves. Do not forget to stop by the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier Amusement Park, which sits right off the seawall. It features a roller coaster, carnival games, and a scenic Ferris wheel which boasts 360-degree views of the beach and Gulf.
