This beach stretches between High Island and the Sea Rim State Park and boasts almost 20-acres of coastal shoreline. Sections of the beach have been recently restored with new sand in order to prevent the seawater from overflowing into the freshwater marshes, which has been slowly destroying the area's natural habitats. These efforts also aim to protect sea turtles by providing a suitable ecosystem for nesting. Due to its size, the beach is the perfect place to escape the crowds. Visitors should have no problem finding a place where they can be by themselves, whether they come for sunbathing, fishing, or simply to admire the pristine surroundings.
