The entire peninsula is easily accessible by car, which means it's quite popular on the weekends for locals and tourists alike, who can park nearby to enjoy a day at the beach. There are plenty of on-shore and off-shore activities to participate in during your visit. Hang out in the sun working on your town, grab a boogie board and hit the waves, or simply bring a picnic and a couple of drinks for a laid-back lunch. This is a great place to go fishing as you can easily cast your line right off the rocks on the coastline.
