Boca Chica Details

This charming village in Cameron County is a great destination for those who crave a bit of sun and surf. Here, you will find a long stretch of white-sand beach, rolling grass dunes, and crashing ocean waves. Although this area is quickly becoming more gentrified (thanks to the recent addition of the SpaceX control facility), the beach is still a pleasant escape where you can soak in those laid-back, island-like vibes. The surf can be quite choppy, so take caution if you are not the most experienced swimmer. However, you can always wade in the shallow waters or lay out a towel for a bit of sunbathing if you like to take it easy.
