Wolf Mountain Trail

Ideal for a cloudy or overcast day, this trail is just a short drive away from Johnson City. There is not a lot of shade along this 5.4-mile loop, which means you should come prepared with sunblock and extra water if you are planning to tackle it during the peak of the day. Although the trail leads you through several creeks, they are generally dried up during the spring and summer months. While there is not much in terms of scenic views, the uphill and downhill paths make for an interesting walk.
