Peering over the sparkling Lake Worth, the 3.25-mile Canyon Ridge Trail boasts one of the best views in this nature park. With narrow inclines and steep stairs, this trek can be difficult, even for intermediate hikers. At the top of the ridge, you'll have a birds eye view over the parks wildflower fields, limestone cliffs, and cacti gardens. Some of the most unique things to see are the stone arches and columns that were built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. During the hike, you might encounter a few species of wild birds, including hawks and turkey vultures.
