Sugarloaf Mountain Details

If you are up for a challenging hike (mixed in with some rock climbing), then this is the trail for you. Although it is only a mile long, the entire journey is very steep and over some pretty rough terrain like loose rocks and scree. In some parts, you will probably even need to be on all fours in order to ground yourself on the trail. For that reason, it is a good idea to carry a pair of gloves to protect your hands from sharp rocks. It is also recommended to wear long pants and sturdy shoes if you are planning on making this trek. The loose stones can slip under your feet, and the cacti can do damage to exposed legs. Despite the strenuous hike, the views from the summit are nothing short of mind-blowing, so make sure to bring your camera.
