This 227-acre park is one of the best places to go hiking in Hill County. It is located in the Balcones Canyonlands, so be prepared for rugged terrain, trickling streams, and tons of scenic overlooks. Hikers will have 2.5 miles of trails and 6 different paths to choose from. The Yaupon Loop is the longest trail at 1.75 miles. It sits near Bee Creek and has a sharp incline towards the top of a canyon. If you're looking for something more groomed, then you can take the family-friendly Arroyo Vista Loop, which is just .6 miles long.
