The trail connects Birch Creek with Nails Creek and crosses through a diverse variety of landscapes, including blackjack oak forests, wildflower fields, wetland ponds, and crystal blue lakes. If you are lucky, you will encounter a few different critters during your walk. Whether it is a deer nibbling grass in the nearby fields or an otter floating down the creek in search of food, there is plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained.
