Enchanted Rock Loop Trail Details

Texas Hill County has a ton of stunning natural landscapes to see – and you can witness them all from the summit of this family-friendly hiking trail! This path is a 5.5-mile loop that takes you to the top of Enchanted Rock, a massive granite dome-shaped mountain that stands 425-feet tall. Legend has it that the rock was once able to give the native tribes spiritual powers, like becoming invisible or traveling to other worlds. While we cant attest to the truth of the rocks powers, we can say that the views from its peak are nothing short of outstanding. You will have an unobstructed view of the desert landscape and rural countryside for miles around.
