Spend a peaceful afternoon cycling along the banks of the Trinity River when you choose to head down this trail. It is a north to south running trail that connects two major bodies of water – Ray Roberts Lake to the north and Lake Lewisville in the south. The cycling path is just around 10 miles long and is largely shaded by large trees and wooded forests. While the cycling/walking path runs along the western banks of the river, the eastern side is reserved for horseback riding. The Ray Roberts Dam is nearby, which means the water of the river will be flowing no matter what time of the year.
