A perfect mix of steep hills, narrow dirt trails, and wide paved paths, this trail is ideal for both intermediate and experienced cyclists. There are plenty of things to keep you occupied as you ride, including Rivery Park and Bootys Road Park. It also runs parallel to the San Gabriel River for a portion of the ride, which is why you might hear the trails other nickname – San Gabriel River Trail. If you need to cool off, then make a short stop at the Lake Georgetown reservoir. The lake is over 2,000 acres wide and is a popular destination for boaters. You will also find a few recreational fishermen casting off from the shore. Sunfish, crappie, striped bass, and catfish are just a few aquatic species that live in the lake.
