It also runs parallel to the San Gabriel River for a portion of the ride, which is why you might hear the trails other nickname – San Gabriel River Trail. If you need to cool off, then make a short stop at the Lake Georgetown reservoir. The lake is over 2,000 acres wide and is a popular destination for boaters.
