Boasting over 11 miles of trails through marsh and wetland landscapes and rural suburban neighborhoods, this trail is one of the best things to do during your visit to Houston. It is a relatively flat ride, although it can be difficult in the summer or at the peak of the day due to the lack of shade along the Buffalo Bayou river. During your ride, you will wind through parts of the impressive 7,800-acre George Bush Park which has a shooting range, a dog park, and several sports fields and facilities. Keep in mind that the trail is not a loop, so you will need to return back to where you start if you arrived by car. If you are looking for a more adventurous ride, you can hop over to the Terry Hershey Park Hike and Trail for an additional 11 miles of bike trail.
