Whale's Mouth Details

Named after its resemblance to "the mouth and gullet of a giant fish," this brilliant deep blue hot spring is one of many interestingly named thermal features in the Norris Geyser Basin. Strangely enough, this hot spring was named by a naturalist, who should have known that whales are not fish!
