Pott's Point Preserve Details
For anyone with a love of tide pools and expanses of rocky shoreline, the Pott's Point Preserve on Casco Bay is a delightful treat. The spanning coastline of the preserve allows access only by a pleasant walk along an old road to the tidal shores of the bay. Sparse but lush areas of trees and grasses surround the stony shores and beach where the tidal waters bring in daily surprises. From kelp to crabs, the tide pools fill with life for those with a natural curiosity. Parking for Potts Point Preserve is located at the southern end of Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell. Park by the side of the road, but do not block access to any buildings or businesses or the town landing. Walk along private Potts Point Rd to the Preserve. You may also walk along the shore below the high tide line.
