Angel Falls is an impressive feature, standing as one of the tallest waterfalls in the state. At a whopping 90 foot height, the falls don't just trickle but plunge over the rocks in a stunning display. The name comes from the high water season when the overflow falls in the shape of spread angel wings. Though this hike rises about 200 feet, the entire trip is only a little over a mile and is short and relatively easy. The time of year may make this impassable though as the creek crossings become high and fast.
