Allagash Falls Details
The Allagash River is known in Maine for its long history and its wild and remote path. The Allagash Falls would do it no justice were they any less impressive. Best found by boat, the falls drop a roaring 30 feet over a large rocky area. Though most impressive during the melts, the waterfall is always a spectacle. Be warned that it is recommended not to get too close, lest the boat gets swept up like one man's in 2016.
