A moderate 2.2-mile round trip hike follows lush forested trails, a rambling Seboeis River, and culminates in a beautiful gorge and cascading river run known as the Upper Seboeis River Gorge. Due to rapids, boaters often walk or pitch up in this spot to surpass the rougher runs in the waterway. Picnic tables have even been brought out to accommodate the visitors and allow for lunch with views of Sugarloaf Mountain. Anglers frequent this stretch as well for the well-known East Brook Trout run.
