Table Rock Details
Grafton Notch State Park has multiple well-known nicknames, destinations, and even vantage points. One such viewing outlook sits along with the Appalachian Trail and is known as Table Rock for its flat, naturally carved viewing platform. Only a 2.5 miles moderate roundtrip trail, most of the hike is considered moderate, with a few iron runged rocks leading hikers onward. The platform itself rises to 1,400 feet to offer an extraordinary view, "as annotated by the trail signs," of Maine's forested mountain landscape. Though all times of year are stunning, fall is especially beautiful with waves of changing leaves.
