Maiden Cliff Details

As the largest lake in it's the county, Megunticook Lake is already an incredible sight in Camden Hills State Park. The islands of trees dotting the water and the cliffs of Mount Megunticook on the eastern side create for a picturesque place. The best view though is from that of Maiden Cliff. As a steep 800-foot open cliffside above the lake, the viewpoint is well-known. The spot is also the beginning of a large trail system running throughout the area, and a must-see for any passer through.
