Little Wilson Falls Gorge Details

Located along a portion of the Appalachian Trail, Little Wilson Falls Gorge is a popular hike surrounded by forests and rock. Though the entire route is impressive, the ending culminating in an outstanding 75-foot tall slate stepped waterfall, one of the tallest in the state, makes the hike truly worth the effort. The gorge is no small feat though. As the edge of the 100 Mile Wilderness, the trail is rugged and with walls stretching upwards of fifty feet, and the fast-moving water calls for visitors to jump in at their own peril.
