An extremely popular trail for locals and tourists alike, Wilson Falls Trail along Big Wilson Cliffs is a Maine hiker initiation. Not a far jaunt from the river, guests are welcomed by the sounds of a rambling river and multiple waterfalls, including one of the tallest waterfalls in the state, Little Wilson Falls. Forested and with many roots, this is a popular spot to swim, featuring a couple of well-known swimming pools at the bottom of the Big Wilson Cliffs. The Appalachian Trail connects here as well, so expect to see others hiking in for a dip.
