As part of Maine's Cranberry Isles, Baker Island is a popular spot within the famous Acadia National Park. Despite being well-known with scenic coasts, forested islands, and the wildlife, it is only inhabited by a few residents throughout the year. The island here has a rich history of visitors though due to its unique geological feature, large and flat slabs of granite. Laid out perfectly by nature, these are referred to as Baker Island's "Dance Floor" and were used just for that, communal dances.
