Little Hunters Beach on in Acadia National Park draws at the heart of adventurers and artists. Not somewhere anyone would recommend swimming with its heavy undertows and cold water, the shore here is rocky, surrounded by trees, and takes a short hike to reach. The beach is known as a popular painting spot, and the rounded rocks make for a uniquely soothing sound as the tide comes in and out. Compared to the bustle of the rest of Mount Desert Island, this is a beautifully secluded area.
