A 2.4-mile easy/moderate loop hike. Schoodic Mountain offers a popular looping trail that is relatively easy, well-marked and leading to an open summit with spectacular views. Overlooking Frenchman Bay and Mount Desert Island the hike here is perfect for all occasions. Although there are a few different options and routes to be taken up to the top, ending at the Schoodic Beach offers the perfect opportunity to relax and let the kids and pups cool off after a heated hike.
