Norton Preserve Details
Norton Preserve is the largest of the Kennebunk Land Trust and a great location for those looking to explore for the day. With multiple woodland trails passing through a variety of trees, the pathway follows an old and abandoned road that was built but discarded during the Great Depression. Due to its location, the land does rest next to more current residential areas, denoted by the old stone walls seen along the paths. The vernal pools here make for an abundance of wildlife habitat though and are popular for wildlife watching in an otherwise busy area.
