The Charles E. Clark Preserve is a part of the Kennebunk Land Trust. Since 1972 the trust has been tasked with the mission of preserving our natural lands and the community they are a part of. The preserve here is a smaller portion at only 90 acres, but with a big impact. Following 2,000 feet of the Kennebunk River, the wildlife here is abundant. Visitors follow the short and easy half-mile trail along the river, an old railroad bed, through forested land to view a variety of wildlife such as moose, fox, herons, owls, and songbirds.
