A 5.7-mile network of moderate trails, East Royce Mountain is located in the White Mountains National Forest bordering New Hampshire. A compliment to its western next-door neighbor, hikers will find this peak offers beautiful views of the surrounding heavily forested mountain range. The main route goes directly up East Royce Mountain in a steep upward climb. Though other less challenging trails get you to the same point. Many visitors like to take advantage of the double peaks and will often hike across the border to the West Royce Mountain Peak as well.
