Indian Point Details
Indian Point includes 25 acres of a high-risk ecological system set aside and protected for both the habitat and public. Indian Point has access to 3700 feet of shoreline, but that isn't what makes it so unique, also known as, "The Hook," the land is mainly a low tide sandbar. Both beneficial to the birds and sea life that live there, the ecology is extremely sensitive to human impact and issues such as erosion. It is there for the public, but it is also asked that caution and low impact use are implemented to protect this valuable place.
