This 4-acres sand beach is a local gem and connects Fisherman's Point with the Southern Maine Community College campus. A very popular beach for dog owners, when they are permitted. The beach offers views of Spring Point Light, Fort Preble, Fort Gorges, and the Casco Bay Islands. It also serves as one of the best places to watch the busy boating traffic for the Portland Harbor. The beach is part of the Spring Point Shoreway. Restrooms and a small playground are available. Facilities: Picnic Area, Playground, Restrooms, Hand-carry Boat Launch, Parking
