Hills Beach Details

Hill's Beach is small but offers free parking and a nice enough location that it is usually quite busy. Located next to the wetlands and Biddeford Pool, this is an active spot for fishermen and outdoor recreation. Biddeford Pool, interestingly, is the site of Maine's first recorded settlement, once a village that sprouted up on the surrounding shores. Today, though lobstermen are not quite as common as they once were, a long day at the beach may just call for a stop into the surrounding restaurants for a Pool Lobster treat.
