East Point Sanctuary Details
A 30-acre sanctuary owned by the Audubon Society which is located on the eastern tip of Biddeford Pool, and considered by birders to be a "must-visit" destination. A short trail connects the preserve and offers visitors swiping views of the ocean and Wood Island Light, which is just offshore. There are several access trails that lead down to the rocky shoreline but are steep. Even if you're not a birder, this is an excellent spot to visit and relax with a book or enjoy some outdoor mediation.
