Old Faithful Area Details
"Old" really is a good name for this area: the Old Faithful Inn, originally constructed in 1904, is one of the oldest hotels still standing in any U.S. National Park. The central part of this rustic building, with it big lobby and fireplace, is original, the two wings added in later decades. Some rooms have views of the Old Faithful Geyser. The log-and-stone Old Faithful Lodge, built in the 1920s, has classes of cabin accommodations, with roughly motel-style amenities. If you stop in for lunch at the food court you'll enjoy great views of the geyser with your meal.
