Kennebunk's small but cute stretch of sand is aptly known as Mother's Beach. Small enough to watch the little ones, local enough that it doesn’t get too crowded, and with a soft surf so the older kids can still play in the water, parents can relax here a little and enjoy the quiet surf with the other young families. If nice waves weren’t enough, there is also also a playground right behind the beach for kids to wear themselves out on before heading home after a playdate in the sun. Facilities: Playground
