After burning down, the descendants of the property gifted it to the state to become today's day-use recreation area. With views of Penobscot Bay, and easily accessed from a popular coast drive, visitors can stop by to enjoy the scenery, explore the hiking trails, check out tidal pools, and picnic. With bluffs and an evergreen grove, this is also a popular setting for weddings. Facilities: Picnic Area, Parking, Group Picnic Shelter, Grill, Playground, Restrooms
