Riverside Walk Details

This paved, easy trail follows the Virgin River as it flows along on its way to The Narrows. The quiet trail is fairly accessible, but does experience a few minor elevation changes as it winds into the upper section of Zion Canyon through cottonwood, maple, and ash forests. The trail is home to a number of hanging gardens, lush pockets of shade and water-loving plants thriving on the canyon walls, and the American dipper, a small native bird known for its strange walk and swimming abilities.
