Herring Cove Beach Details
Provincetown's most popular beach offers you warm, placid waters, great sunsets, and the opportunity to spy whales and seals offshore. The beach is unofficially divided into a family section to the right of the concession area and a gay-friendly section to the left, where you may encounter nude sunbathers (note that nudity is prohibited within the National Seashore). The north end of the beach tends to be quieter. Herring Cove is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore and has concessions, restrooms, and lifeguards in the summer.
