Chimney Tops Viewpoint Details
The treeless, double-capstone knob on the east slope of Sugarlands Mountain, known as the Chimney Tops, is one of the most recognizable landscape features in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Cherokee called the peak the "forked antler." From this viewpoint you can see the steep cliffs below the summit, and the verdant surrounding landscape make this a popular picture spot.
