Lakeland Climbing Centre Details
What was an old Milk Drying Plant was converted into a climbing wall in December 1995. The Main Wall reaches a height of 25m and the Kendal Wall is now recognised for its quality and ranked in the British Mountaineering Council's top 3 in England. The Climbing Centre offers a dedicated training room, a family-friendly room for beginners to intermediate climbers (The Den), two new bouldering rooms (The Marmot Loft and The Green Room) and a 20m high multi-faceted vertical wall (the King Kong Wall). Then there's the Kendal CrazyClimb and the spectacular Skyline Indoor Aerial Adventure, Europe's first indoor Via Ferrata. The Kendal Wall Shop and Creamery Cafe complete the scene.
