Hike the trail from the parking lot and around the air strip to reach the Cascade Falls at the base of Cascade Mountain, about one-third mile. Cascade Ponds is a local favorite for barbecues on nice days, and even for wading in the shallow waters. You can also fish, picnic and sunbathe here, and in the wintertime, ice climbing is popular.
