Park Cliffe Camping & Caravan Site Details

Three miles from Bowness-on-Windermere is the 25-acre Park Cliffe Camping and Caravan Site. There are sites for both tents and motorhomes, as well as permanent camping pods, which offer a more solid structure than tent camping, but with similar facilities. There are three camping areas for tents, some with electrical hookups, and they can be reserved in advance. Motorhome sites also offer hookups, and should be reserved in advance during peak summer periods. The park also features permanent caravans that sleep four, with all bedding provided, full-size kitchens and utensils and central heating. Camping pods will sleep two adults and feature carpeted floors, light sockets and small heaters, although guests should bring all their own camping gear otherwise, minus the tent. Larger family pods can sleep up to four adults or two adults and three kids.
