Camping

There are no designated campsites in the park, however there is unlimited backcountry camping. All excursions in the park are backcountry excursions, visitors must prepare for and select their own backcountry camping locations in the park. Visitors need to store food out of reach from wildlife, animal resistant containers are available for loan from the NPS at the headquarters in Kotzebue. The entire park is considered bear country, visitors are highly encouraged to follow Leave No Trace principles while camping and visiting this almost untouched wilderness.
