Raspberry Island Details
To get to Raspberry Island, you need to rent kayaks or a canoe from Rock Harbor and paddle for one mile until you reach the island. The diversity of ecosystem there is astonishing and because of the solitude, there is a good chance of seeing some of the wildlife that call this island home, like moose, foxes or wolves. It is a beautiful place for a picnic and a great spot to relax and take in the beauty of the area. You can only access Raspberry Island on days that are calm enough to make the journey as smooth as possible over the tricky waters and the small size of the island, make it a great place to explore either by the two trails that run across the island, or by setting off on your own adventure.
