Malone Bay Details

Malone Bay is located just south of Siskiwit Lake and the Siskiwit Falls along the eastern edge of the island. It is a notoriously beautiful place with ample opportunity to view wildlife and enjoy the solitude of the area. Accessible only by boat or the 7-mile Ishpeming Trail, Malone is a beautiful spot to camp, fish and enjoy the pebbly beaches. The campsites are first come first serve and there are a couple wooden shelters you can take advantage of. If you travel at the beginning or the end of the season, it is very possible that you will have the full area to yourself.
