The Windigo Visitor Center is located in the southwest end of the park and is open seasonally from May - October from 8 a.m. - 6p.m. with varying hours in May, June, September and October; you can call (906) 482-0984 for hours during these months. At the Windigo Visitor Center you will find exhibits about the local lighthouses and shipwrecks primarily as well as some guided walks and talks that begin at or near the visitor center. You can also get boat registrations, camping permits, pay entrance fees and explore the bookstore.
