Biking is a great way to see the park up-close from the roads while still allowing you to move quickly. However, many of the roads are steep so make sure you are up to the task. Mountain biking is most popular on paved roads and the road from Great Basin Visitor Center to the town of Baker, which is a well-maintained gravel road. If you are looking for more of a challenge, visit the primitive roads like Strawberry Creek Road, Snake Road and the Lexington Arch Road which lead you through beautiful scenery and truly prove the idea that the journey is just as important as the destination.
